Moved
Since I have my own site, I figured it would be more logical to go and blog there instead of here. So Rusteloos has moved to http://jakobahavinga.com/rusteloos.

What do you do when you still need to move some stuff out of your room while people have started to rebuild the house already? Well, you make a temporary wall.

New home!
Around this time we had to move out of our temporary home, into a new temporary home, meanwhile moving my husbands stuff out of his old home into the second temporary home while moving the rest of our stuff out of the first temporary home. We were rather relieved to finally have a definitive home to look forward to. And that new home needed some inspection before buying. That is what we're doing here, with my parents and sister.
And with a ghost, apparently.
The house wasn't completely empty, as you can see.

Making of a project. I had just one week for a few projects to finish, so I used this to let the paint dry. Wasn't quick enough, still.

Even if I would have wanted to cycle to school, I was unable to. The snow was at some places coming to my knees, and it took a full hour to get to school. Even then, I was the first one to arrive. After waiting one hour, the school closed. I headed back home.
The blue snow was right beside the hospital, and only there. I wonder what caused it.

Snow! I still count time only by counting how many days have passed since we've wed: 7.
I had to walk to school, since I'm afraid of slipping and falling whenever there's ice or snow visible.
When I came home from school I admired the snow in the backyard, and couldn't resist to play with it, even when I was alone. Then I went inside, baked cookies and made tomato soup.

I am updating the site again! I will try to bridge the gap between my weddingday and today, 5th October 2010 with all of the photos I've taken between those dates. The blog will continue daily once again when I receive the repaired battery of my mobile phone.

This photograph seems to have been made at the busstop near my parents home two days after my wedding day. I just can't imagine I was there at that time.

The day after the wedding seems to be an endless one. Full of surprises, gifts, greeting cards and very sweet wishes. Everyone seems to care for your well-being, thanks you for being invited and wishes good luck for the many days to come. It's heart warming.
And above all, you can have some rest, enjoy each others company... It's a great day.

The wedding day is lively and funny. And it starts véry early. People are laughing, smiling, preparing for everything that will come. They look weird - but at the same time, very beautiful. It's lovely to have them around, guiding you through such a day without even knowing how much they help.

The night before your wedding can be quite eerie. Even when you know everything that's going to happen, every little detail is planned and discussed, it just remains a bit spooky. There's the big 'tomorrow' and then there's the 'now'. When you close your eyes and sleep, tomorrow happens. When you don't - it will too. The transformation of the night into the next day will just seem to last a little longer. But then again, wasn't it I who wanted to marry? And I wouldn't want to look like I didn't have any sleep last night, would I?
But the night is weird. Everything seems loaded with symbolism, and I just cannot get a grip on the 'how' and 'why' and 'when'.
